  1. Line a strainer with a double layer of cheesecloth, or a large coffee filter
  2. Place the colander in a larger bowl
  1. Pour in the yoghurt
  2. Leave to strain in refrigerator.
  3. Transfer the strained yoghurt to a container.

NOTE: If using cloth, the cloth edges can be brought together and twisted and a weight of some kind can be placed on top to speed up straining.
