German Christmas cookie recipe
Ingredients[]
- 3 small eggs, beaten
- 200g (7 oz) caster sugar
- 260g (9 oz) plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 tablespoon fennel seed
Directions[]
- Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas mark 4.
- Combine the beaten eggs and sugar and beat for 15 minutes. Stir in the flour, baking powder, cream of tartar and fennel seeds.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
